Welcome to Equal Access International

About Us

For many non-Muslims, the understanding of Islam is primarily formed through the Media, as well as paradigms that have been developed over many centuries. The typical understanding of a Muslim is usually of someone rigidly following Arab cultural traditions, often enforcing the community around them to comply with their practices.

Over the past couple of centuries, there has been a growing segment of Islam realising that their origins, the message of the Qur’an, and Muhammad was quite different to the description above.  Particularly in the last few decades, Muslim and non-Muslim scholars have objectively looked at the relationship between the Bible and the Qur’an, re-looking at the context of the message of Muhammad, this resulting in greater understanding and respect between the Abrahamic faiths. Equal Access International exists to promote this new understanding to a broader audience, with some of our Core Values being inclusiveness, openness to change and a respect for diversity.

With these values, Equal Access International is actively involved with Peace & Community initiatives.  These include Education Programs of the Associations Asian Partners who hold to similar values, as well as supporting the development of leaders in Peace Camps involving Muslim and non-Muslim communities.

We trust the increasing resources on this site will be a benefit for you, and be able to contribute towards a balanced view of Islam and its origins, as well as for the Islamic community to experience a blessed future through the various initiatives of Equal Access International.
